Frosted and Decorative Window Film in Tucson
Want privacy in the bathroom or at the front door without losing the light? Frosted window film is the fix we'd recommend. It turns clear glass into soft, glowing glass that hides you day and night.
The morning light still fills the bathroom. The entry still glows. And the neighbor's second story stops being a problem. It goes on the glass you already have and looks like it came with the house.

Privacy Day and Night, and the Light Stays
Frosted film scatters light as it passes through the glass. Daylight still fills the room, but shapes and detail on the other side turn into a soft blur. That's the whole idea: privacy without a dark room and without blinds.
- Privacy at every hour. Reflective films give privacy in daylight only. Frosted film hides detail day and night. That's why it's the right film for bathroom windows and entry glass.
- The light stays. A frosted bathroom window still brightens the room in the morning. A frosted sidelight still lights the entry. White Matte gives glass an even, soft glow, and that's exactly how it looks in person.
- It looks like it was meant to be there. On a front door or an office wall, frosted or decorative film looks like a design choice, not a patch.
- No new glass. Etched and sandblasted glass means replacing the pane. Film goes on the glass you have, and most jobs are completed in a day or less. It can come off later if you change your mind.
- The rest of the house keeps its look. Frosted film solves a specific problem on specific glass, like the window over the tub or the sidelights by the door. Your other windows keep the one look you chose for the house. Privacy window film

The Frosted and Decorative Films We Install: Pick the Look You Like
We install SunTek window film, including its decorative line. Frosted and patterned films scatter light, and there's no accepted way to measure their light and heat numbers, so we describe them by look and by use.
White Matte: the classic frosted look.
A semi-private frosted film for doors, windows and interior glass. It gives the whole pane an even, soft white glow, hides detail and keeps the room bright. This is what most people picture when they say "frosted glass."
Crystal: the etched-glass look.
Crystal film is made to look like etched glass. It's a step more refined than plain frost. It suits front doors, sidelights, cabinet glass and office partitions where you want the glass to look custom.
Decorative film.
Decorative designs add style and partial privacy to glass walls and partitions, like the office glass in our photos.
White Out: total privacy.
An opaque, bright white film. Nobody sees through it. It's the choice for a window that needs to be fully hidden, like a storage room or a bathroom that faces a neighbor's second story. Blackout and whiteout film
Every look covers the full pane. We don't cut custom stripes, bands or logos.
Not sure which one? Bring us the window and the reason. We'll put each sample on the glass, and you'll see the difference in your own light.

Bathroom Window Privacy Film and Other Home Uses
- Bathroom windows. The window over the tub that faces the neighbor's yard. The shower window that's level with the sidewalk. Bathroom window privacy film gives you privacy at every hour and keeps the morning light. Bathroom glass is the most common reason people call us for frosted film.
- Front doors and sidelights. Glass at the entry is beautiful, and it also shows everything inside the house. Frosted or etched-look film keeps the entry bright and stops people from looking straight down the hall. If break-ins are a concern at the front door, ask about security film too. Security window film
- Garage and laundry windows. Hide tools, bikes and storage from the street. White Matte keeps the space bright. White Out hides it completely.
- Interior glass. Office doors, pantry and cabinet glass, glass between rooms. An etched look adds privacy and detail.
Tell us which window bothers you. We'll come out and show you what fixes it, free.
Frosted and Decorative Glass Film for Businesses: Private Rooms, Open Feel
- Offices and conference rooms. Glass walls make an office feel open, until a meeting needs privacy. Frosted or decorative film gives the room privacy and keeps the open feel.
- Service counters. Glass dividers at a counter can be frosted so customers at one window can't see the next. One recent job was a full service counter. Every glass divider was frosted. Each customer now gets more privacy, and staff still have light to work.
- Clinics, salons and studios. Exam rooms, treatment rooms and changing areas with outside windows get privacy without losing daylight.
- Storefronts and lobbies. Frosted film on selected panes hides back-of-house areas, desk clutter or a stockroom while the display glass stays clear.

Your doors stay open. We plan commercial work around your business hours, including after close, so the install doesn't get in the way of your customers. Commercial installs carry a 10-year warranty. Commercial window tinting
Frosted Film on Dual-Pane and Low-E Windows: A Good Match for Most Homes
Most Tucson homes have dual-pane windows, and many have a Low-E coating. White Matte and Crystal are both rated for clear and Low-E dual-pane glass on the film-to-glass chart, so they're a good match for most home windows. We still check every window at the estimate, because pane size, shading and the frame matter too.
We only use films that are a safe match for your glass. Window film on dual-pane and Low-E windows
Frosted film goes on the inside of the glass, which is where film lasts longest in the Arizona sun.
One less thing for you to figure out. We check it all at the free estimate.

Install Day: Most Jobs Done in a Day or Less
Our crew arrives on time and lays down drop cloths. Furniture gets moved out of the way with care. Each pane is cleaned and prepped, then the film is set and trimmed to the glass. When we're done, we put things back, clean up after ourselves and walk you through the finished work. Most jobs are completed in a day or less.
Frosted film can look a little cloudy or streaky for the first few days while it cures. That clears on its own. After that, a microfiber towel and an ammonia-free cleaner keep it looking new.
The sooner it's on, the sooner the bathroom blinds can stay open. Request a free estimate to get started.

Decorative and Frosted Film Questions
Does frosted window film give privacy at night?
Yes. Frosted film scatters light the same way in both directions, so it hides detail day and night, unlike reflective film. With bright lights on inside, someone standing close to the glass may show as a soft shape. For complete cover, White Out hides the window entirely.
What's the best bathroom window privacy film?
For most bathroom windows, we'd recommend White Matte frosted film. It hides detail day and night and keeps the morning light. If the window needs to be fully hidden, White Out does that with a bright, solid finish.
What's the difference between frosted film and etched glass?
They look much alike. Etched glass means replacing the pane. Frosted or Crystal etched-look film goes on the glass you have, and it can come off later if you want clear glass back.
Can I still get light through frosted film?
Yes. That's the point of it. White Matte and Crystal keep the room bright while they hide what's on the other side.
Is frosted film good for a front door or sidelights?
Yes. It keeps the entry bright and stops people from seeing down the hall. Crystal gives a more custom, etched look on front doors.
Does frosted film work on dual-pane windows?
In most cases, yes. White Matte and Crystal are both rated for clear and Low-E dual-pane glass. We still check each window at the estimate.
Do you frost glass for offices and businesses?
Yes. We frost conference rooms, office walls, clinic windows and service counter dividers. Commercial installs carry a 10-year warranty.
What warranty comes with decorative film?
Home installs carry our lifetime warranty on materials and labor, against bubbling, peeling, fading and discoloring. Commercial installs carry a 10-year warranty.
How much does frosted window film cost?
Most homes start around $14 a square foot installed. Your exact price depends on the film you pick and the size and number of panes.
Who installs frosted window film near me in Tucson?
