How a Job Works

The customer calls (520) 542-3002 or requests a free estimate through the website form.
Tucson Home Window Tint comes to the home or building for a free estimate.
The estimator measures every window and checks the glass. Tucson Home Window Tint only uses films that are a safe match for the glass.
The customer sees real samples on their own windows.
The customer picks one look for the whole house, and one film is matched to it, so every window looks even from the street.
The customer gets a quote on the spot and can schedule the install on the spot.
Install day: drop cloths down, furniture and blinds moved with care, every window cleaned and prepped, cleanup and a walk-through at the end. Most jobs are completed in a day or less.

Commercial installs are scheduled around business hours, including after close. After-hours work is built into the quoted price.

Film goes on the inside of the glass in almost every case. Exterior film is used case by case, only when a window truly needs it.

Ultra-VisionDS (clear):: made to be barely visible. Ultra-VisionDS 70 lets in 69% of visible light. Ultra-VisionDS 40 blocks 80% of the sun's infrared heat. UV blocked: over 97% (70) and over 98% (50 and 40).
InfinityDS (neutral and bronze):: InfinityDS 35 Bronze rejects 60% of the sun's total heat and blocks over 99% of UV.
Dual-ReflectiveDS and SymphonyDS (dual reflective):: more reflective outside, softer view inside. Dual-ReflectiveDS 35 rejects 50% of the sun's total heat. SymphonyDS 15 rejects 82%.
SilverDS (mirrored):: SilverDS 20 rejects 81% of the sun's total heat and blocks over 99% of UV.
DR Mirror (one-way mirror):: DR Mirror 7 lets in 7% of visible light, rejects 83% of the sun's total heat and blocks over 99% of UV. Privacy works in daylight; at night with lights on inside, people can see in.
Black Out and White Out:: total privacy, day and night. Black Out lets in 0% of visible light. On dual-pane windows, Tucson Home Window Tint evaluates the glass and recommends the safest option.
White Matte and Crystal:: frosted and etched-glass-look decorative films.
Safety and security films:: Clear Series (2 to 13 mil), Symmetry and Silver safety films. Clear safety films are chosen for safety, not heat.
Anti-graffiti film:: 4 mil and 6 mil, clear (89% visible light).
UV:: the SunTek solar films installed block up to 99% of UV.

Light and dark films are both good choices. Light films keep the daylight and the view and block up to 80% of the sun's infrared heat. Darker and reflective films add privacy and the strongest heat rejection, up to 83% of the sun's total heat. A dark film is not needed for UV protection.

Film care: a microfiber towel and an ammonia-free cleaner.

Warranty

Homes:: lifetime warranty on materials and labor, against bubbling, peeling, fading and discoloring, on all Tucson Home Window Tint films: solar films, one-way mirror, safety and security, frosted and decorative, Black Out and White Out.
Commercial:: 10-year warranty on materials and labor, on the same films.
Anti-graffiti film:: no warranty. It's a sacrificial film made to take scratches and tags and be replaced.
Turf protection film:: no warranty.
Who backs it:: Tucson Home Window Tint stands behind the warranty itself. If something isn't right, it comes back and makes it right.
Paperwork:: customers get SunTek's manufacturer warranty along with the Tucson Home Window Tint warranty, and their warranty is kept on file in the company's system.
Transfer:: not transferable. The lifetime home warranty covers the homeowner who had the film installed, for as long as they own the home.
Not covered:: damage to the film (scratches, cuts, impacts) and damage from cleaning with ammonia or abrasive products.
